Retail sales in July did not change as inflation keeps increasing

The commerce department reported a 0.8 increase on June. However, in July there was no increase, retail sales were flat. The high interest rates as well as the higher cost of household items have encouraged families to be wise on their spending habits as inflation continues to increase.

New York City no longer performing random testing for school students

NYC school district will no longer be performing random COVID-19 testing when the new school year starts on Sept 8th. Masks will still be mandatory in certain situations. NY schools will provide home test kits for students and staff if exposure to the virus is known.
